Be at the VH-1 Big in 2002 Awards!

Seatfiller.com is doing the seatfiller casting for the VH-1 Big in 2002 Awards, which will take place on December 4th in Los Angeles, California. You must sign up before December 3rd if you are interested in being a seatfiller at this awards show.

You MUST establish a profile with seatfiller.com, send a resume, et cetera. You will be notified if you are selected for the show a few days before the event. I have worked with Seatfiller.com before and they are a great company. They are providing the seatfiller casting for the show (not for any particular band, artist, actor, film, nominated tv program, et cetera).

What is a seatfiller and how does it work?
A seatfiller temporarily takes the vacant seat of a person (celeb or non-celeb), generally in the front of the house, while they are busy doing something else - on stage presenting an award, performing, using the loo, if they are late or simply chatting with someone elsewhere inside the venue. When the person returns, the seatfiller is expected to vacate the seat immediately and return to the seatfillling line (usually by the walls on the sides of the auditorium or in an assigned section in the back).

The rules on seatfiller.com include (but are not limited to) the following announcements:
No compensation (other than a great time) is provided.
No transportation or accommodations are provided.
No autograph seeking or photography (don't bring your personal camera) is permitted.
No wandering into any restricted areas. (You will be shown where you need to be) .
No one arriving after the designated call time will be admitted (No exceptions).
A current resume, photograph and introduction letter (tell them why you want to be a Seatfiller) must be on file to attend any show.
You must adhere to the designated dress code. (You will be sent information on each show telling you what is acceptable).

To sign up for the awards, you must be a current member, which means that you must register for seatfiller.com. Once your profile has been reviewed, you can REQUEST to attend a specific show in the SHOWS section of Seatfiller.com

*Please make sure you sign up for this specific show if you want to be considered. If you only submit your profile to seatfiller.com and you don't go back and request to attend the VH1 Big in 2002 Awards show, you won't be in the queque for consideration. (Note: To be a seatfiller for the VH1 Big in 2002 Awards you must appear to be between the ages of 18 and 35).
