Bon Jovi Nearly Misses Child's Birth

NEW YORK - Overeager fans nearly made Jon Bon Jovi miss the birth of his son.

People magazine reports Bon Jovi played a show in New Orleans on May sixth. Somehow fans found out where he was staying, and his hotel room was bombarded with so many calls he turned off his phone.

When his wife, Dorothea, called to tell him her water had broke, she couldn't get through.

Bon Jovi's tour manager had to break into the room to tell him the news. Bon Jovi rushed to a private jet, and the pilot got air traffic
controllers to clear air space so they could get to New Jersey right away.

Bon Jovi made it with two hours to spare. Their son Jacob Hurley was born on May seventh.
